OrthoKiteBunch (OKB) links two systems.

For OrthoKite (OK) system,differences with others devices are the following ones:the traction is orthogonal and is on one lever then the other lever,a winch unwinding a line while another winch winding the other line.With the shown embodiment the left relay line becomes taut while the right relay line slacks and then exchanging roles.So tangential force is optimal,and there is no radial strength.It is possible to maintain the optimal force on the best part on the fly window,to right and to left.The oscillation rocks the lever;the lever's center rotates and drives the hydraulic installation which smoothes the production of generators.For an installation of limited dimensions the OK system can be implemented with a single kite (thus without the KB system).

For KiteBunch (KB) system:the individual kite lines converge on a point from both relay lines join their respective control levers.So the length of the lines can be identical and the kites can be superimposed without excess of space occupation (This device is specially adapted for cross paths).On the contrary with a conventional train of kites,the kites are on the same line(s).So the space occupation is very important.Moreover the speed of high and low kites can not be identical as seeing on the last photo.

**Successful trials of OrthoKite system**

Prototype dimensions: lever length:1 m. kite area:1.5 m² lines length:18 m Trials on 01/31/2010: wind speed:2 m/s torque:100 Nm kite speed:until 12 m/s swept area:50 m² angular speed:1 rad/s punctual power:100 W covered angle of lever motion and kite flight :+ - 100° These trials show that OK system does not generate losses like loss due to the loss of relative wind speed with linear systems,or losses because of kite(s) going out of flight window. Cost of the system ( without kite,dynamometer and further generator):15 to 20 $.So everybody can verify these indications by experimenting with the system by oneself under licence.
